U.S. Army Base and Residents' Life: Problems and Solutions
¹Ì±º±âÁö¿Í ÁֹεéÀÇ »î – ¹®Á¦Á¡°ú ÇØ°á¹æ¾È
The presence of a significant U.S. military base in Gyeonggi Province has long affected the community. After the reorganization of the U.S. military base in 2004, many of the returned bases have had problems with pollution, and there has also been reports of other damage the expanded U.S. military base in Pyeongtaek area has caused. Gyeonggi Province has recently been actively engaged in the issues related to women in the bases. Under these circumstances, this session shares various cases to understand the problems and their impact on the U.S. military base, and to find out what kind of efforts are needed to resolve them.
